  25. Linda Goodson on March 3, 2021 at 8:42 pm

I’m a new subscriber to your channel. I have been binge watching for a few days. Really enjoying your channel. What a lovely transformation! I am in south Louisiana. We still have green grass, but everything else is dormant. We’ve had hard freezes. So I won’t be doing anything like this for a few months. I am a native of Pennsylvania, so this cold weather is really my favorite time here. Do you miss the snowy winters? I have lived all of my adult like in LA, but I still miss the snow at Christmas time! Thank you for sharing, Lynette…..

  26. jan hoover on March 3, 2021 at 8:46 pm

  30. laura h on March 3, 2021 at 8:50 pm

so lovely lynette! it is great to have such good weather for landscaping when a lot of the us is experiencing blizzards. i live in south texas so it is similar weather. i like the solution with the rocks. i finally invested in gutters which helped in my yard during the rain storms. i love the philodendron too. i took mine out of the pot and planted it in the corner yard…it is a beast of a plant now. merry christmas!

  31. Jackie Lowrey on March 3, 2021 at 8:52 pm

This is so ironic. I just redid my front yard with black mulch, stepping stones, and river rocks.

  32. Mary Perry on March 3, 2021 at 8:52 pm

Hello, your yard and your home 🏡 are simply beautiful. That was alot of work and you did a fantastic job. You and your husband have the greatest laughs, I love that you work so wonderfully together.

  33. Janet on March 3, 2021 at 8:53 pm

I love that edging tool that you were using!

  34. Evelyn Hayward on March 3, 2021 at 8:53 pm

You are a monster with that spade. You did such a good job. I love working in the garden. Like you, it is therapeutic for me. Those split leaf philodendron are going to be so pretty when they get bigger. I live in MIssissippi but go to Iowa for 2 months every summer. Last summer I landscaped my friends yard. She lives on a acre. It was so much fun. I am 75 and can still work in the yard. I am so thankful because it is my happy place.

It turned out beautiful 🎍✨️everything looks great.I love it❤

  40. Angela on March 3, 2021 at 9:08 pm

Landscaping looks beautiful!! Why not put a gutter on the edge of your Lani to direct the water away from the flowerbed and away from making your Lani dirty? Actually gutters all around the house is helpful and not as expensive as you would think. It also saves the earth around your foundation from eroding. You could get some estimates for all or just the Lani or DIY!! ❤️

I enjoyed this video, Lynette! Your flowerbeds are so pretty! I feel like we have a little bit in common.😊I’m from Texas and we can start planting pansies, etc. now. Do your flowers stay nice all summer? Here it gets to hot for a lot of them to make it, come July and August. I get frustrated since I am love flowers and landscaping, but I can barely keep them alive through the summer! I moved to Texas 23 years ago after we got married. I come from Pa , so it WAS an adjustment!😊 Blessings to you and your family!
